I can't change my refund check at a cash checking. Can the IRS resend me the check through my friend's bank account?

I went to the cash checking place to change my check but I dont have my state ID and had a friend of mine put into his bank account but it failed then the bank sent a copy of the check. Can the IRS send me a direct deposit into my friend's bank account  instead?

Sorry no, once your return has been accepted & now processed from the IRS, you cannot change how you receive your refund. The the IRS will not resend you your refund to your friends bank account. Anyway, most banks will not accept a check to someone's account with a different name. You will need to get some ID.
