I can not get information from last years return to satisfy the IRS requirement of identifying myself. Is there another way I can identify myself and efile?

My estranged husband filed a joint return last year and I have absolutely no information available about the return. The IRS site wants information I do not have.

You can go directly through the IRS to obtain that information. Remember it is always good to print out your tax return after you have completed it. Buying a folder or envelope, could keep you from running into this snag.
