Let me share with you my experience thus far. I submitted my taxes last night, and signed up for refund advance, which I assumed was confirmed because it automatically sent me to Credit Karma and provided me with a checking account, and the routing and account numbers were automatically entered into my return information. I confirmed several times.

I take a peek this afternoon and I see that my federal return has been accepted. I check my new Credit Karma checking account, and nothing. So I call Turbo Tax and speak to a nice girl who tells me that they did release the funds, and they were bounced back by Credit Karma, but she couldn’t see why, so I needed to call them. I call them, and they are lucky if they even know what company they work for, and tell me to call TT back. So I do, explain the situation to another agent, who puts me on hold for 15 mins and hangs up eventually on me. I call back, speak to another agent, who is not telling me that I was never signed up for the refund advance, but can’t explain how the agent that I spoke to first saw the transaction of the funds being sent to Credit Karma and then bounced back, but no one else is seeing any of that, and without saying it, is basically saying the first girl was was making it all up, because that makes so much sense. She also can’t explain to me how my Credit Karma checking account info got entered into my tax return, without me actually entering it, because I never had a Credit Karma checking account (why the heck would I) until I clicked on the Refund Advance, and was accepted, and it sent me to the Credit Karma page, where it created an account for me and automatically entered the information into my return.

So if your name is Karina and you work as an agent with Turbo Tax, please get your people on your level. Lastly, I have been asking for a supervisor for over 30 minutes and the agent refuses to transfer me to a supervisor. Turbo Tax, you’re employed by the most incompetent individuals and have the worst customer service I have ever experienced beyond Comcast, because they definitely take the cake.

I have now wasted two hours of my day on this, and will 100% spend a few more leaving terrible reviews and ratings everywhere possible, because I am petty as hell.
