I began working as a real estate agent this year. Bought a computer etc. I made no money doing this and decided to stop. Can I still claim expenses?

No. Since you stopped (effectively closing the business in the same year you opened it) and made no money from the business, you have nothing to deduct business expenses from. Business expenses can only be deducted from business income. Based on the limited information you've provided thus far, I don't even see a need for you to file a SCH C at all.
