I amended my tax return on April 14th ,2018 and I have not received an email stating that the amendment was processed. When will the amended form be accepted?

You don't get any emails about an amended return. An amended return cannot be e-filed, so it does not get "accepted." You can't amend your return just by making changes in TurboTax. An amended return has to be filed on a special form, Form 1040X. You have to print it, sign it, and file it by mail. If you didn't mail it, you didn't file it.

It takes the IRS up to 16 weeks to process an amended return. Starting about 3 weeks after you mailed your amended return you can check the status by using the "Where's My Amended Return?" tool at the following link on the IRS web site.
