I amended my tax return but my college needs my original tax return information as well. Where can I find my original tax return?

Before you amended you were supposed to save a pdf of the original tax return. If you did not do that, then the original one is gone. The amended return replaced it.

If you did not save a copy of the original return you may be able to pay the IRS $43 for a copy.

Ask the college if they will accept an IRS transcript of your original tax return instead of an actual copy. A transcript is free and you can get it more quickly. A transcript shows the information from your tax return, but not in the format of the actual forms.
