I amended my return... do they send my entire return together now? Or only the amended amount?

It will be a two step process. First you will receive your original refund. If you amend and there is more refund coming, you will receive it as a separate payment. HOWEVER, in order for the amendment return to reflect correct amounts, it is highly recommended to amend only after you receive the refund. 

Follow these instructions that will be available in mid-February.
