I amended my federal taxes, but nothing changed (including my refund). Do I still have to mail in the amended 1040A?

Yes, you do need to complete the amended return even though it did not change your refund amount. So, go ahead and continue with mailing off the amended return.

I completed my returns without my 1098-T form. So I put the $ that was meant for box 2 in box 1. It all came out to the same deduction though.
