I meet the Physical Presence requirement as I work for the the U.S. Defense Industry, via private company, in England.

@dejwal , from your post , I am not sure  that I understand the whole situation.  So could you please answer the following:

(a) are you a US person ( citizen/GreenCard ) ?

(b) are you saying that your tax home is in the UK and have been so for a year i.e. you now meet the Physical Presence Test and therefore need to amend your already filed return for 2024 ?

(c) your employer in the UK is a private entity ( and under contract  to  US defense dept  or similar ) ?

(d) should I assume that you filed your 2024 return by April dead line because you owed  taxes  or what ?
