I am using premier but none of the previous information from 2014 is populating information in 2015 return

Online is only for the current year.  Are you using the Desktop program?  You need the data file ending in .tax2014 on your computer to transfer into 2015.  Do you have that file?

I log into my account online and fill in my numbers as usual, in past years the data ( personal information kids ect)  is auto populated and i have not filed any different or change pc?

Or you can get the blank forms from the IRS and do them by hand.  Either way you will have to print and mail prior year returns.  And send each year in a separate envelope so the IRS doesn't miss any.

My returns are in PDF and stored on Turbo tax.

We don't yet understand what you are doing.    You specifically mentioned a 2015 return in your question above, but online TurboTax is currently only for a 2016 return.

Are you preparing a 2015 return?  If so, that can only be done by purchasing desktop software (CD/download), as VolvoGirl mentioned above, and installing it on your computer.   Then you would need to download the *.tax2014 data file (if it was prepared online) in order to transfer it into the 2015 return.

apologies I was talking about 2016 return not 2015. I wanted to make sure my 2015 data pre populated my 2016 file I am currently working on. I have downloaded the *.tax2015. I guess I need to transfer the file to 2016 now?

Yes.  You have to start a new blank 2016 return to transfer into.  Are you using the Desktop program?  Go up to File - New and it should find the .tax2015 file and ask if you want to transfer it.  Or you can point it to the 2015 file.  You can only transfer at the very beginning before you start 2016 so you will have to start over.

If you are using the Online version, Go to My Account > Tools > Transfer last year's TurboTax return from your computer > Continue
