I am unable to print my state return, I can only preview it. I selected email me when forms are ready, received the email saying they were, and I still cannot print it.

No, I have not filed. I want to review a printed copy of both my state and federal before I efile

You can print your return before filing it if your forms are ready to be filed. If not, you have to wait for them to be ready to file.
