I am trying to amend my tax return but it trying to charge my bank account the Amount of 36 dollars when I thought it wasn’t supposed to charge anything at all any help ?

Yes that is correct they are trying to charge me 36$ for my return it’s saying it’ll take it out my bank account after I schedule it to and that to make sure I have that amount in my account

I can only surmise based on your statement that you used the free version of TurboTax when you filed. If that is the case then yes there is a charge for the amended return as the 1040-X is not included as a free form.
