I am trying to access my previous years tax returns. I filed with freetaxusa the last two years, but Turbotax every previous year. How do I find them?

When I log in to my Turbo Tax account, it prompts me to file 2021's taxes and that is all I have access to. I'm not seeing anywhere to click outside of answering questions for filing 2021's taxes. The drop down menus that I've seen other's post about are not available options for me. What am I missing?
When you log in, you'll initially only have a very minimal left column menu. You'll likely need to "pretend" as though you are going to prepare 2021 and proceed a little to get past a few screening questions, and may (or may not) need to choose a 2021 product (you don't have to pay or actually use the 2021 product.) At some point along the line of that screening, the left column menu should change with more options.

FAQ: How do I access my prior year return?
Once you proceed far enough that your left column menu options change, go to the Tax Home. Scroll down the Tax Home page to the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents." Expand that section and choose the tax year you want. Then you can choose to "Download/print the PDF". As I said above, you may have to first answer some screening questions and select a product before you have all the menus.
Once you are able to look in "Your Tax Returns and Documents," if there's no evidence of prior returns in that section, then you likely have multiple accounts and signed into the wrong one. Many people end up with multiple accounts.
You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes. A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be. It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all.
To get a list of your User IDs, reset password, and recover account access, etc., you can use the tool at the link below. When using the Account Recovery tool, try using your phone number first--if you can still access it. After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.
NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop. Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below. You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

If still no luck after running that on your phone number you can still access and email address(es) that you can access, here's another method:
Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, scroll down a bit, then choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.

How do I access a prior-year return?
Here's how to view and download your prior-year returns. You can access returns for the past seven years.
First time signing in this year
- Sign in to your TurboTax account and continue through your prior year summary (EVEN IF YOU WILL NOT USE THE TT PROGRAM FOR THE 2021 RETURN). Make sure you're using the same TurboTax account (user ID) as in prior years.
- On the next screen click on TAX HOME then scroll down and select Your tax returns & documents.
- Select the year you want, then select Download/print return (PDF).
- If the year you're looking for isn't there, it might be in a different account. Go here to find all of your accounts.
