I am preparing my returns......Fed/state. finished and printed but not filed! I would like to modify the return before re-printing for original filing? How do I do this?

If you need to make changes to your return prior to filing your Income Tax Return, the only way to get back into the return is to follow the instructions below.  You are not really adding a state, you are just telling the program that you want to so that you can open the return and make the corrections you really need to make.

• Log in to your TurboTax Online Account 
• From the Overview page Click on My TurboTax 
• My Tax Timeline 
• In the Some things you can do area Select Add a state

 This will let you back into your Return to make changes and file it.

I have not filed a return, I don't want my return I print to file with IRS, to be an amended return, I corrected it to be the original return!!!!!! HOW can this happen?

this is so simple to do on the downloaded version, but online version sucks!!! where is the button that states I have filed my return? why does it assume I have filed a return when all I did was print it out for filing?
