Are you in Georgia? That is the ONLY state in which there is such a credit. Even if you are in GA, you have to wait until your original return has been fully processed in order to amend. You cannot amend at this time.

As @xmasbaby0 mentioned, on your GA state tax forms you can claim an exemption for $3000 from taxable income for an unborn child with a detectable heartbeat after 20 July 2022, who was not actually born in 2022.

Once your original return has been processed (refund deposited) then you can amend your GA return to include the exemption.
