If you are locked out because you entered the wrong sign in information, the lockout only lasts 14 minutes, so you will be able to access your account soon. If you still can't get in, try recovering your account.
To recover a TurboTax account:
- To recover your account, start here.
- Enter your email address and then enter the verification code. The next screen will show you every account name connected to your email and the date you last used it.
- Pick the one that seems most likely to be the one you used last year. You will have to verify it again and will be prompted to change your password.
- You can repeat this as many times as needed to find the account you used last year.
To sign in when the account is temporarily locked:
- Select Continue on the lock screen
- Choose an option from the Let's make sure it's you screen
- Select Get a code texted to or Get a code emailed.
- Select Continue to reset the password
