I am having my tax documents done outside of Turbo Tax. Is there a way I can transfer the documents here to keep them organized?

I am having my taxes for 2020 done by a professional outside of Turbo Tax. I would like to transfer those documents onto Turbo Tax afterward so I have all of my documents organized and easy to find. Is this possible to do?

You can upload them to My Docs.

No.  Keep your records in a secure place and don't lose them.  Only tax returns that have been prepared using online TurboTax software are stored in your account with your other returns.  Returns prepared using desktop software are stored on your own hard drive.  If you have your return prepared by an outside tax professional, it cannot be transferred in or imported to online TT.

You can scan them in to My Docs---but that will not be as a tax file that can ever be used to transfer to the next year's tax return.  It will store images of the documents.

Is it possible to have my taxes done by someone other than me on Turbo Tax? I am not confident filing the 2020 tax year by myself and I would much rather have someone who knows what they're doing do it for me. Is there an option where someone can come onto my Turbo Tax account and file my taxes for me so that I have documents to transfer for the next year?

Note that My Docs storage feature is only available in paid editions of Online TurboTax; i.e., PLUS (a paid upgrade to Free Edition) or higher.   So you would have to pay for a 2020 TurboTax product in order to use My Docs.  And would have to use a paid product every year after that to maintain access to My Docs.
