I am currently a volunteer firefighter in MD and am looking to submit a copy of my MD Income Tax Subtraction Modification. Where would I need to attach this document?

You do not need to attach. TurboTax will automatically generate the form when you enter the information as follows:
- While completing the interview for your MD return, you will come to a screen that says Income that Maryland handles differently.
- Enter under public service
Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services Volunteer Work deduction is a $4,500 deduction if you served as a volunteer for Maryland fire, rescue, emergency medical services, U.S. Coast Guard Auxilliary, Maryland Defense Force or Civil Air Patrol.
