You are posting from the Self Employed version which is the highest version. 

Federal is 119.99

state is 44.99

 

Then to have the fees deducted from your refund is an EXTRA 39.99 Refund Processing Service charge (44.99 in California).  Or you could have paid with a credit card to avoid the extra charge.

 

So 119.99+44.99+39.99 = 205.97 plus any Sales tax.

Did you choose to pay TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund?

 

It looks like you are using Self-Employed edition, which is 119.99 for Federal and 44.99 for state (if applicable).

When paying out of the Federal refund, there is an additional 39.99 service fee (44.99 for Calfornia filers.)

 

Did you not review the fees prior to filing?

 

Did you need the Self-Employed Edition due to a self-employed business (Schedule C) in your return?  Or did you use that product by mistake?

 

We could have told you about one of the 2 free products prior to filing, which you would have qualified for and would have had no fees.  Even with a Schedule C, you would have qualified for the TurboTax Free File Program.

 

You can discuss your situation with the folks at TurboTax Support by phone during business hours.  I'm not sure what they will say, but it's possible they might say continuing to file after reviewing the fees indicated acceptance to the terms.    However, it can't hurt to discuss it with them.   If you used the wrong product by mistake, tell them so, explain your financial situation and also mention that you would have qualified for one of the free products (TurboTax Free File Program) had you been informed.
