I am about to mail in my '17 amended tax return in paper form. I was going to the start my '18 tax return electronically. Will that cause me any problems with the IRS?

No, it won't cause a problem since each year is reported separately.

I had a business with inventory that I filed on my '17 taxes.  The '17 amendment I had to do was because my ending inventory had to be modified because of erroneous advice that TT gave me.  Will I have to do a re upload of my amended '17 taxes before starting my '18 taxes or will I just modify my rolled over '17 figures for year end inventory in my beginning '18 TT filing?
