If you do not qualify as a someone else's dependent, then you can file an amended return and "un-check" the box indicating that someone else can claim you as a dependent. Keep in mind, the question is whether or not someone else can claim you, not whether or not some else did or will.

Was my return rejected by irs? Why cause i got a text saying state and federal was rejected then i got a email saying everything went threw fine
