I already submitted my federal taxes but not my state taxes yet. But I never added my W2, how do i add the W2 to the federal and state taxes?

Hey there, to file with turbotax you must have already added your w2. It would be the same w2 for both Federal, and State taxes. To add another state(s) taxes to your return, go on the turbotax app and under your pending/ already filed taxes, click the button that says “See all my returns”. At the bottom you should see another button saying, “add a state”.

If you already e-filed your federal return, you would not be able to add your W-2. You would need to wait until your return has either been accepted or rejected. If it's rejected, you can go in and fix the error, add the W-2 and re-submit your return. If it's accepted, you would need to wait until you receive your refund and then use the link provided below to make sure you really need to amend:

For your state return, when filing, it will let you know what documents are needed for your state return, as each state is different.
