The IRS will only deposit a refund into an account owned by the taxpayer.
And...the IRS does not use wire transfer for tax refunds, if that's what you are referring to as "this money."

The IRS will not make a direct deposit to a foreign bank account. They will only mail a check to the address you used on your Form 1040. Did you use the correct mailing address?

In TurboTax, I entered my current address in the Personal Info section.
In Step 2 of the filing process, after selecting “Paper check”, the address shown under “Here's where your refund will be mailed” is my current address.
Does that mean the refund check will be mailed to that address?
The IRS will use the address that is on your Form 1040 to mail a check.
