I already got my taxes but i did amend and it said i would get 987 instead of 1216

When you started the amend process, the refund that is shown in TurboTax is reset to zero. 

You will still get the original refund from your original tax return. The amended return will show the difference you owe, or that you will get back as a refund. In your case it sounds as if you are due an additional refund based on the amended return.  The amended refund will come in the form of a paper check as the IRS does not direct deposit amended return refunds.
