You cannot send your tax return and the IRS Schedule E separately to the IRS. The schedule E is part of your tax return and has to be sent with it.
You are going to need to wait until the amend forms are available to get back into your tax return. When you do though, use the search bar to get a jump link (button you push to go directly) to the part of TurboTax where you enter rental income.
When you enter your rental income, don't forget rental expenses. The expenses will help lower your tax liability the rental business generates.
Unfortunately since you have already filed your tax return, You will need to amend your tax return. This will be available in TurboTax towards the end of February. Amending is a simple process in TurboTax. I will provide instructions below.
You will need to wait until the IRS receives and processes your original return. Wait until you receive the refund on your original tax return (or your check clears if you had to send a payment).
This article shows you how to amend your 2018 tax returns prepared in TurboTax. If you used the desktop version of TurboTax, skip to step 6.
