I accidently put our total SS benfits in my husbands slot which made our SS benefits $$7943 more than what we got, made no difference in refund, do I have to file an amen

No, if the error in your Social Security benefits didn't change your income taxes, then you don't have to amend your return. The IRS will match up your return with what is reported from Social Security, and since there's no change to your taxes, it won't make any difference.
