I accidentally filled federal taxes twice. How can I stop one of them?

Only the first one will be accepted.

Were they the same?  Or did you add something to the second one?   Only one of the returns can be accepted.  The IRS will reject a second return using the same SSN .  But....has either been accepted?  No telling if they will both be rejected, or which one will be accepted----but only one can be accepted.  Wait and see.  The IRS starts to accept/reject returns on January 29.
