If you have already filed and used TurboTax last year, then your direct deposit information from last year is transferred over to the current year. You can take a look at your tax return. The information will be located on your 1040 under the Refund section. See if there is an account number there. If there isn't, you will be receiving a paper check. Once you file your return, you cannot change payment information.
First, log into your account.
Once inside, scroll down to the bottom of the screen
On the section, Your tax returns & documents click on Show.
Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you have not filed yet, follow the instructions below to view the refund payment option you have selected.
- Open your return in TurboTax.
- Go to the File section in the left menu.
- Next to Step 2: Your refund info select Revisit.
- View your refund method.
