How/where can I see my 2018 federal taxable income amount?

UPDATED FOR TAX YEAR 2019

You can see your 2019 federal taxable income amount by looking at the tax summary or previewing your 1040.

To do this please follow these steps:

1. While in your return, click Tax Tools > Tools  (in the black bar at the side of the screen).
2. In the Tools Center, under Other helpful links click on View Tax Summary.  Your taxable income will be on the 6th line in the summary.
3. To preview your 1040, click on the Preview my 1040 link in the black bar at the side of the screen.  Your taxable income will appear on line 10 of the 1040.
