How to see a tax return

I used a cd rom from Costco to file taxes in 2017. How do I access those returns? They’re not in my profiles.

How to see a tax return

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Any saved PDF's and the 2017 tax data file will be store by default in the Documents directory and in the TurboTax folder.  The tax data file for 2017 will have a file extension of .tax2017 and can only be opened by the TurboTax 2017 desktop software.  The PDF's can be opened, viewed and printed using any PDF compatible viewer, such as Adobe Reader.
