How to make sure I'm applying for refund advance before pressing file?

In the File section of the program in Step 1 you would have the option to apply for the advance if it was offered to you.  If you did not see the offer then it was not offered and you cannot get the advance.

 

Click on File on the left side of the online program screen.  On Step1 click on Revisit and follow the interview.
