How to amend an efiled tax return that I did not yet send in payment. Corrected 1099 now entitiles me to a refund.

I efiled my return but did not send in payment yet. I then received a corrected 1099 that would entitle me to a refund. I created an amended return with the new 1099 but how do I get turtax to recoginize that I did not send in the payment. It is showing a refund that assumes I paid the tax due earlier but did not yet do so.
