If you have already submitted your tax return, you cannot add any information to your return. 

If you are trying to add it due to the stimulus checks, In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

You can monitor the page here, to view any upcoming information. This is where the IRS will update all information.

How do I add my direct deposit information

In the FILE section, step 3 it will ask if you want your refunds direct deposited and will ask for your banking information.
