Why are you asking about this years later in 2026? What steps have you taken since 2017 to get information about those old refunds? If you used TurboTax to prepare returns for any of those years, you can look in your TurboTax account(s) as far back as 2018 for information to see whether the accounts show that your returns were accepted. TurboTax saves returns for seven years, so 2017 is gone.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.
But you mention a "tax agency" --- why are you asking TurboTax if you used some sort of agency to file your tax returns? Ask the tax agency.
You can check the IRS for transcripts to see if the IRS shows that you filed returns for those years, or check to see what it says in your online account with the IRS.
As for the stimulus checks---those were issued for tax years 2020 and 2021. It is now too late to get the stimulus money from 2020 or 2021.
You can get a free transcript from the IRS or for a fee of $30, an actual copy of your tax return.
