How can I see if I’m accepted

The IRS will be opening its 2017 processing today, January 29. Although you were able to efile before that, your return would have been stockpiled with many others. Today the IRS will start pulling them for processing.

Normally a return should be "pending" no more than 24-48 hours,but since the returns will be backlogged as they start up today, it's unknown how much longer you will be waiting to receive an acceptance/rejection notice by email.

Everyone will be interested in seeing what happens today and tomorrow.

You can check your efile status by either logging back into your account or checking with this tool:
https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp

Once your return is accepted, you can monitor the status of your Federal refund with this IRS website. It will likely take about 24 hours after acceptance to show up there:
http://www.irs.gov/Refunds
