How long does my deposit take after irs.gov says my refund has been sent. it's taking MUCH longer this year, usually i get the deposit before the status updates...

The IRS has a backlog of returns they are processing, as addressed here.

Unfortunately, this may cause some delays in processing refunds. It normally takes 21 days after your return has been approved to receive a deposit. For more details and to track your return, please see the link here.

it says it has been SENT not "pending"

when intuit was in the news a lot because of the stimulus fiasco- they were very transparent about how all of this works- and i remember. my question is how long until i get my refund from INTUIT- because IRS.gov sent them their cut.
