How long does it take to receive your taxes after you confirm your identity?

It will take at least nine weeks and sometimes longer after you verify your identity with the IRS before you receive the federal tax refund.

Make sure you check the status of the refund on a regular basis using the IRS tax refund status website - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
