Refund Processing Time varies depending on how you filed.
• E-filed tax returns with direct deposit – E-file with direct deposit is the fastest way to get your federal tax refund. The IRS states that 9 out of 10 e-filed tax returns with direct deposit will be processed within 21 days of IRS e-file acceptance.
• Mailed paper returns – Refund processing time is 6 to 8 weeks from the date the IRS receives your tax return.

Yes i filled my taxes and it got accpected on the 28 of january my fedral and it been 21 days all it say my return was accpected and being procssed what does that mean i put direct deposit
Mine is saying the same thing. Im hoping it changes soon.
Yea next year i am not doing this with turbo bad experience take to long dont like it
Have any one received there funds yet with turbo tax this year?
Keep in mind if you filed the EIC or extra child credit they can't release those refunds until 2/27
Oh yes i filed child credit so i wont see mines until the 27th
I've gotten my state back a few weeks ago, I filed really early and usually after it says it's being processed, it means it's on the way. I love TurboTax, it's really convenient. You have to remember all the "shut down" complications. Just a little more patience.
How fast do it come after you efile with direct deposit ? 1-2 weeks?
@felecia1996 I filed like on the 22nd of January. IRS didn't start the process until the 28th. I only got my state back so far and the "check my refund status" is finally saying it's being processed. When did you file?

I filed on 2/15 and still haven’t gotten my federal tax back! It has never taken this long.my sister in law filed with a CPA and got her refund back in a week and here u am still waiting ...
I filed the 29th of January I got my state, but never got my federal I'm being patient. But this is going to be the last year I file with turbo tax.....
Filed on Jan 31 got state still no federal. Never has taken this long before.
I still haven’t gotten my state taxes. I filed in February. Am I alone who still hasn’t got one of there taxes back yet? :(
The IRS began accepting returns on January 27th. It takes about 21 days for the IRS to issue a refund, once the Return has been Accepted. To get an actual date for when you will receive your refund, please go to www.irs.gov/refund. If have already checked this website and it says Approved, the IRS says: "We’ve approved your refund. We are preparing to send your refund to your bank or directly to you in the mail. This status will tell you when we will send the refund to your bank (if you selected the direct deposit option). Please wait 5 days after we’ve sent the refund to check with your bank about your refund, since banks vary in how and when they credit funds. (It could take several weeks before you receive a mailed refund check.)"

Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
