How long does it take for federal tax returns to be accepted so I can print off state returns?

state forms have to be finalized for PRINT.

It has nothing to do with your federal return status.

@fanfare thanks for the response. According to turbotax "Help" it says federal has to be accepted and then the state will be. It's somewhat confusing. the federal forms printed fine (mailing in both state and federal) however the state forms say "Not final, do not mail".
