I understand the frustration. I know this is easier said than done, but please stay patient. That being said, I have found some information below that I hope guides your in a positive direction.
If your return was accepted less than 21 days ago, hang in there. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to go from acceptance to approval, and this time frame is unrelated to how, where, or when you filed, nor is it connected to how quickly you got your refund last year.
IRS representatives will be able to research the status of your refund if your return was accepted (received) more than 21 calendar days ago. Call them at 1-800-829-1040, but prepare yourself for a potentially long wait times.
Once you've been accepted, you can also start tracking your federal refund at the IRS Where's My Refund site. Be aware that they have had some system issues, so if the feature says it is not available at this time, just check back later.
