How do you figure out your overtime on the w-2 form

Overtime may be entered on your W-2 in box 14 and if it is then the TurboTax program will calculate the deduction and enter it on the Form 1040 Line 13b.

If not on the W-2 and you have the overtime listed on your last paystub, then after you complete entry of the W-2, on the following screen check the Overtime box and continue.

How do you figure out your overtime on the w-2 form

You can't figure out the overtime from Box (1) Wages on the W-2.

However, some employers put it in Box (14)

If it's not in Box (14) you can:

Review your final pay stub.
Check your employer website.
Ask your employer.
Contact HR or the payroll service.
