How do I see my 2021 tax return?

  You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Start a 2023 return online and enter some personal information  so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

Yes, you can view, save or print your 2021 return, as long as you have access to the same TurboTax account that you used when you filed it.

Here's how to find it:

1. Log into your TurboTax account. 
2. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents, select 2021, then Print or preview return.

If you don't see your 2021 return, you may have more than one account. Here's how to find the one you used in 2021:

1. To recover your account, start here. 
2. Enter your email address and then enter the verification code. The next screen will show you every account name connected to your email and the date you last used it. 
3. Pick the one that seems most likely to be the one you used for 2021. You will have to verify it again and will be prompted to change your password. 
4. You can repeat this as many times as needed to find the account you used for 2021.
