How do i reset my state taxes file. I made an error in my state, and already filed my fed. Can i start over on state using fed info? My fed was good, so i want to use that for my state. The program will not let me start over.

Yes, you can re-start your State taxes by following the instructions below. 

1. Click State Taxes.
2. Proceed to the Status of Your Returns screen.
3. Click Start next to the state you want to delete.
4. After the transfer of the information completes, click Continue.
5. Once the next screen has loaded, click State Taxes and proceed to the Status of Your Returns screen.
6. Select Edit and Start over.
