How do I remove box 12e from my tax return? It is automatically populating and I've checked everything, but it is still populating even though I did not input it.

I do not have any retirement contributions, and I did not list this number anywhere. I've checked all of my boxes, and there is nothing automatically selected. I need box 12e removed from my tax return, but it is automatically populating.

Not sure what you are trying to do.   Line 12e on your Form 1040 shows your standard deduction.   Or are you talking about something else?     "Box" 12e of what ---- exactly?

I was confused about where the number was coming from, but I now understand that it was my standard deduction. Thank you!
