How do I locate my past years state tax return completed with Turbo tax?

If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2021 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2022.

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online. So you need to make and keep your own backups.

Everything "online" for 2021 taxes is locked right now for the switch to the 2022 program.

BUT

When the transfer of all files to the archived server is done, then you will be able to download a new PDF file from your tax account in the " Your tax returns & documents" section , lower on the first screen after login.  (you might have to start putting in some minimal 2022 tax file info before that section shows up.....if this year's software behaves like last)

The end-of-year archived tax file PDF will contain All of the worksheets.  During the Regular part of the year, you would have to use the Print Center to get to all the worksheets...but after archiving, after the end of the year, the PDF automatically contains everything.
