How do I locate my 2019 annual gross tax return

What are you trying to find?   Your 2019 AGI is on line 8b of your 2019 Form 1040

Or are you wanting a copy of the tax return itself?

  You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !

EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records.  That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

It depends. Are you trying to access your 2019 return? If you are using Turbo Tax Online and using the same login information today as you used in 2019, follow these steps:

1. Log into Turbo Tax
2. When you reach your landing page, select documents on the left hand side of your screen.
3. The next screen will have a view documents dropdown. 
4. Select the drop down and select 2019.
5. If you used this same account to prepare your 2019 return, there will be a Download tax PDF option to select.  You will have the ability to download your 2019 return.
6. Repeat the same step to download your 2018 return.
7. If your tax returns are not available, you may request a transcript from the IRS here.

If you used the desktop version, you would have had to save it to your computer at the time you completed your return.  If not, then you will need to request a transcript from the IRS by using the link I provided above.
