How do I know my return has been sent since pressing the yellow bar does no seem to work?

You can go to our e-file status look up tool which will confirm if the taxes were indeed e-filed:

Also, your status is prominently displayed when you sign in to TurboTax Online or open your return in the CD/download version on your computer.

If you were not able to successfully transmit your tax return, here is information on transmission issues and tips to fix them:

The IRS does not have all of the forms finalized and ready for filing, please see the following TurboTax FAQ for information on when tax forms will be available for preparation and filing:

It could also be due to a CAPTCHA not appearing, where you  typically check mark "I am not a robot."

  1. Log out and clear your browser Internet cache.
  2. Close the browser and reopen it.
  3. Make sure cookies are allowed/enabled in your browser settings so the CAPTCHA will appear.
  4. Log in and try again.

If that doesn't work, see if a different browser than you were using, with cookies allowed will solve it.
