how do I know if my taxes were amended?

You are the only one that would know if you amended your tax return and then either e-filed the amended return or you printed, signed, dated and mailed the amended tax return to the IRS.

To make sure that your amended return was filed:

1. Go back to ensure all steps are completed in the "Amend" section TurboTax
2. If you have not filed, follow the instructions to e-file.  Sometimes with amended returns you must print and mail the return.  
3. If your return was sent already, you visit the IRS Where's My Amended Return to check the status of your return
