How do I know if I completely did it the right way in they are filed ?

If you are not sure whether or not your taxes were e-filed, you can check the E-file Status tool here:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

If you opted to mail in your return, you would need to print it out and mail it in to the IRS for processing.
