How do I know exactly why my refund still hasn't been deposited in my account? It was accepted Jan. 28th and says it's still processing.

How do I know exactly why my refund still hasn't been deposited in my account? It was accepted Jan. 28th and says it's still processing.

We are not informed of account statuses by the IRS once the return is accepted. The only way to know exactly would be to call the IRS and speak to a representative. The number is 800-829-1040. However, I cannot guarantee they will be able to provide you with any information. Sometimes they will just say it's processing. Unfortunately, if anyone can give you an answer it would be them.
